Quickshot iii / Spectravideo sv-103

SpectraVideo SV-103

In 1983 Spectravideo International released their first real computers, the SV-318 and SV-328.  Additionally they created a peripheral product designed for use with these computers, the Coleco Game Adapter, SV-603.  This was a $70 plug in module which allowed the user to play ColecoVision games on their SVI personal computer.  To go along with this new adapter, they even created a compatible joystick, the QuickShot III / SV-103, which while made to be used with ColecoVision games on the SV-603 adapter, it is also fully compatible with the ColecoVision itself.  It's a decent alternative to the Coleco Hand Controllers and it features, full 2 independant fire button and 12 button keypad compatibility out-of-the-box, but it is designed more as a desktop grip-style joystick.

The 3 themes shown below were created because each of their full-sized arcade counterparts featured a large flight-stick style joystick for their game play.  So as a special homage to these 3 arcade classics, I attempted to re-create aspects of their arcade counterparts on the one ColecoVision compatible controller that also features/mimicks this large grip-style joystick.
